About Wai Mana

Wai Mana is an Eco-Conscious sanctuary working with the rhythms of nature, with a focus on the culture of Water as the sustainer and foundation of all life.

Located on the Big Island of Hawai’i we believe the health and well-being of all people in Hawai'i, and the world is dependent on the health of lands and waters of the world.

Wai Mana was conceived with a vision for a more sustainable Hawai'i and world. An oasis where people, culture and native ecosystems can survive and thrive naturally.

We strive to make Wai Mana a place to comfortably connect to all sentient beings in a Jungle habitat with modern amenities.

Staying at Wai Mana

A stay at Wai Mana is more than a room. Experience exploration, union, nature, and rest on a micro farm located in the Jungle, walking distance to the ocean, and black sand beach.

Sacred Waters

There’s nothing more essential to life on earth than water. Wai Mana recognizes global water scarcity and the lack of fresh water resources to meet the standard water demand of all sentient beings. We consider water a blessing, and a birthright, and take water seriously here and treat our water as a live living being.

  • Absolutely amazing!! Words can’t describe how lovely this little place is. Located in a beautiful, peaceful community nestled on the edge of the island with ocean views and the perfect dark night sky for stargazing! Every night felt like sleeping in a sound machine being fully immersed in nature with the occasional gentle rain showers. The fresh fruits produced steps away on the farm were a highlight! Can’t wait to come back one day!

  • A great vacation stay with a unique twist- the gardens were beautiful and plentiful, and the accommodations covered everything we needed. Jared is generous with his time and makes sure everything is perfect. The whole concept of this property is centered around sustainability and it’s refreshing to experience that as a guest. Will come back here when we visit the island again.

  • This is my second time staying here. I love it! It’s a perfect studio space for a solo or couple. The outdoor shower is my favorite! The space is clean, there’s a kitchenette setup, the bed is comfy, the farm is great, I love the location as in it tends to be a quiet area. Also, there’s an amazing black sand beach a few minutes up the road. Jared is a great communicator. Check in is easy peasy. Highly recommend this place!
